米国のローレンス・バークレー国立研究所にて、博士研究員1名を募集しております。
本プロジェクトでは、植物と微生物の相互作用に焦点を置き、土壌微生物が植物と共生するために必要な遺伝子群のスクリーニング法の開発を目的としています。以下の要件に当てはまるものがあり、もし興味がありそうな方、ポスドク留学してみたい方は是非PIにコンタクトして下さい。

Position responsibilities
　　　· Develop and implement high throughput screening to characterize gene functions of rhizobacteria
　　　· Employ modern molecular biology techniques, nucleic acid preparation/isolation,
　　　 cell culturing, strain construction and gene library preparation
　　　· Work independently and with a team
　　　· Communicate findings through high-quality publications and posters/presentations
Position requirements
　　　· Ph.D. in biochemistry, cell biology, molecular biology, or microbiology
　　　· Experience working with microbial systems
　　　· Expertise in the design and cloning on DNA constructs using the modern techniques including
　　　 Gibson assembly and Golden Gate
　　　· Interest to learn plant-microbial interactions
　　　· Experience in any of a range of cutting-edge experimental approaches including high-throughput
　　　 screening, CRISPR technology, genetic engineering, synthetic biology
　　　· Communicate clearly and efficiently both verbally and in writing
Additional Preferred skills
　　　· Experience working with non-model bacteria
　　　· Ability to code in python, R or similar programming
　　　· Familiarity with running high throughput screening platforms
　　　· Experience with Illumina NGS sequencing execution and data analysis
